CHANGES TO SKATING AND OFF-ICE SCHEDULES DURING MARCH BREAK

Update March 3, 2026 -- Changes to Skating and Off-Ice Schedules during March Break from Sunday, March 15, 2026 to March 22, 2026 inclusively

Please note that there will be several changes to the skating and off-ice schedules during March Break from Sunday, March 15, 2026, to March 22, 2026, inclusive.

a. Skating and Off-Ice Programs will continue as usual on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

b. No CanSkate / PreCanSkate from Monday, March 16 to Sunday, March 22, 2026, inclusively

• Please note that there will be no CanSkate / PreCanSkate programs from Monday, March 16, 2026 to Sunday, March 22, 2026 inclusively due to the March Break Holiday. 
• Program fees have already been adjusted for these sessions.

c. All StarSkate, LTFS, Junior Development and Intro to Development programs will continue from Monday, March 16, 2026 to Thursday, March 19, 2026 as scheduled

• Please note that all StarSkate, LTFS, Junior Development and Intro to Development programs will continue as scheduled from Monday, March 16, 2026 to Thursday, March 19, 2026. 
• Program fees have already been adjusted for these sessions.

d. No skating for all programs on Friday, March 20, 2026 and Sunday, March 22, 2026 inclusively

• Please note that there will be NO skating for all programs on Friday, March 20, 2026 and Sunday, March 22, 2026 inclusively due to the March Break Holiday and the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships.
• Program fees have already been adjusted for these sessions. 

e. No Off-Ice Sessions on Sunday, March 22, 2026

• Please note that there will be NO Off-Ice session on Sunday, March 22, 2026
• Off-Ice Sessions will continue as scheduled on Monday, March 16, 2026 and Wednesday, March 18, 2026
• Program fees have already been adjusted for these sessions. 

Please note that all programs will continue as per scheduled starting on Monday, March 23, 2026.

DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME – SUNDAY, MARCH 8, 2026 – SPRING FORWARD

 Update March 3, 2026 -- Daylight Saving Time – Sunday, March 8, 2026 – Spring Forward

Please be aware that Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 2:00am.  Please remember to turn your clocks ahead by 1 hour so you are not late for your skating session.  We do not want you to miss skating on Sunday!!!

NO REGULAR SKATING ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2026, DUE TO THE FAMILY DAY HOLIDAY

Update February 15, 2026 -- No Regular Skating on Monday, February 16, 2026, due to the Family Day Holiday

Please note that there will be no regular skating on Monday, February 16, 2026, due to the Family Day Holiday. 

Skating will continue again on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, as per the regular schedule. Program fees have already been adjusted for this holiday.

Update January 26, 2026 -- All Sessions on Schedule Today, Monday, Janauary 26, 2026

The City has notified us that all facilities will open today at 12:00 PM. As a result, all sessions will run as scheduled today, Monday, January 26, 2026.

Please drive safely, and we look forward to seeing you at the rink.

Update January 26, 2026 – StarSkater Mandatory Volunteer Hours Sign-Up -- Closes February 1, 2026

Hello Star Skate Families!

It's time to sign up for your mandatory volunteer hours. StarSkate Families are required to complete 12 hours of volunteering within our Canskate program. Winter season sign up has started and six hours of volunteering must be completed in the Winter season.

Here is the sign-up schedule. It will be available for you to sign up for your Winter hours. After that, you will need to contact sr94av@yahoo.com to make any changes.

Please note: In the event of a cancellation for a specific session, 48 hours notice must be provided to make any changes. If this notice is not provided or if a volunteer is not present for a specific session after signing up, a fee of $50.00 will be charged against the skater’s account.
