CanPowerSkating Program
Canpower is the only nationally regulated power skating program in Canada. It was developed by a team of hockey, figure skating and ringette experts to teach fundamentals of power skating in a progressive and sequential manner.
The program is designed for hockey/ringette players looking to improve their foundational skills. Attention to edges, crossovers and turning is emphasized in this program. Hockey/Ringette players interested should already be able to skate unassisted, able to skate both forwards and backwards with speed, be able to turn quickly and balance on one foot with ease.
This is NOT a Learn to skate program. Full hockey equipment including hockey sticks required. CSA helmets are mandatory.
